Which US state is cheapest to form in?
New Mexico is the cheapest, with an all-in price from $225 and no annual state fee. Wyoming is $260, Delaware $300, Florida $320, and California $330. Every price includes our service, the registered agent (year 1), and the state filing fee.
Why do prices differ by state, and why is Delaware more expensive over time?
Each state has a different government filing fee and, more importantly, a different annual fee after year one. Delaware has a flat $300 annual franchise tax paid to the state, while California's annual LLC tax is $800. Delaware is usually a better fit for fundraising plans, while Wyoming suits most lean operating cases thanks to its low fees.
What does each state's annual fee cover?
It is a government fee paid to the state (an annual report, franchise tax, or annual LLC tax) to keep your company active — not a fee from us. It varies by state: New Mexico none, Wyoming $60/yr, Florida $139/yr, Delaware $300/yr, and California $800/yr.
What's included in the all-in price?
The price includes US LLC formation in your chosen state, the registered agent for year one and its address for official correspondence, the state government filing fee, your EIN, all formation documents, and an operating agreement — one number, no hidden fees.
Are there annual fees, and what will I pay in year two?
Formation is paid once. After year one, the registered agent renews at $100/year, plus your state's annual government fee if it has one (none in New Mexico, $300 in Delaware).
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price shown covers everything needed to launch your company. The only later costs are the clearly stated year-two renewals and any optional services you choose to add.
Can I pay in EGP or SAR instead of USD?
